Having Fun Over the Christmas

Family is always good. Especially when you live 2000 miles away from home and the closest relative is a few states away. It will make you appreciate things more. I'm glad I got the time to relive some of my old memories and to be able to take my love to meet my family for the first time.

It was an interesting visit but none the less, I would have loved to stay longer. Over time, after not being with family so long, I think I've let go of most of the appreciation for family and having them there as guides and as counselors in life.

I feel that things will always get better, as we go through this Christmas season which is basically what it's all about. The birth of The One meant to set us free from our wrongs.

I see the good times coming closer and I know there is alot that needs to be done to get there. Which is why I'm content with situations and the way things are now. Not that I accept them, but I know that I need to put more and more work in to get to the point I need to be at.

Sometimes it makes me wonder what is going on in the minds of people who have gotten things a bit easier than the rest of us. But then I also think about the ones who never get where I am. Maybe I'm in a position that someone else would like to be in. I have to consider that... Being in the right place at the right time.

I love my family and thank them for the experiences they give me.
