Swine Flu in Parkville, Mo???

What the? Seeing that's where I went to college, and that it's about 10-15 mins away from where I live now, I'm kinda concerned. This is what happens when you don't have cable for a while. All kinda breakouts happen.

I was on my way to work, listenin to "Shorty and da Boys" on 95.7 the Vibe, and I heard the news. Topic was to close the borders for now or at least until things get better. If I wasn't from a different country, I would say sure. But I guess when you think of it, that won't really stop anything. People are being careless with their health and it's rubbing off on the rest of the nation.

These fools know that Mexico is full of swine flu and yet, Americans are still travelling to and from Mexico City (where it's worst and probably started). Bad idea. I hope they get sick and suffer... but get better later on. Just to teach them a lesson on how to not be smart.

I look at the bright side of it, at least Shya is not here and potentially at risk of getting it as well. It would be much worse on a child to catch it right now.

My recommendations, wash your hands a lot, don't shake hands a lot, and take care of your kids as well. Make sure they know what's goin on and that they are doing what they can to not get infected and potentially infect the rest of the family. This thing is pretty dangerous and everyone should be as careful as they can.
